SIDELINE

Privacy Policy

Last updated 25 September 2026. This policy is for the iPhone app Sideline: Soccer (bundle ID sno.Soccer-Sideline).

Who we are

Sideline is operated by David Sno. Contact: snofox7@gmail.com.

What the app stores

Sideline is an offline live-stat console. Team names, player names, jerseys, positions, face photos, minutes, stats, scores, seasons, and kit colors stay in an on-device store. Settings such as haptics and hidden stat rows stay on the device.

There is no account, no sign-in, no iCloud, and no backend.

What you can send

You can send a team or a match to someone you choose. That can be a file through AirDrop, Messages, Mail, or Files, or a code on your screen that the other phone scans. Sideline does not receive the transfer and does not upload it.

A team file can include names, jerseys, positions, and face photos. A code carries names, jerseys, and the match state. Face photos are not in the code. Game Card images, a spreadsheet, and a text share are still available. Whatever app you pick for the send is covered by that app’s own policy.

Camera

The camera is used only to scan a team code or a live-match code. Sideline does not save that picture and does not upload it. Adding a player photo uses the system photo picker. Sideline does not get access to your photo library.

What we do not collect

We do not collect, sell, or transmit personal data off the device. The app does not include analytics, advertising, crash reporters that upload, or tracking. The App Store privacy label is Data Not Collected, and tracking is off.

Children

Sideline is a tool for coaches and parents, not a social network for children. Names and photos you enter stay on your device until you choose to send a team or a match to someone else. We do not operate a server that receives that information.

How to delete data

Delete the Sideline app from the iPhone. That removes the on-device store. There is no cloud copy to request.

Changes
